主要应用：
宽光谱拉曼和光致发光光谱的测量，特别可以应用于低频领域；
-半导体材料的内部应力测量。
-可以测量到极小的stokes和反stokes拉曼谱线，一般可以测量到80-100波数。特别应用于聚合物体系，半导体材料，陶瓷的结合效应，晶体结构等拉曼测量。
-需要深紫外激发的应用，如蛋白质，钻石，镀膜，半导体的光致发光谱。

M833测量的拉曼光谱图：532nm激光器(TEM00, 10mW)，S7031-1006滨松探测器 (24um*24um pixel size, 24,6mm*1,4mm, ACD 16bit, one-stage Peltier cooling -10 Celsius, binning mode)

М833 is the unique instrument allowing to simultaneously observe both Stokes and Anti-Stokes components on the distance of 20 cm-1 from the exitation line.

Raman spectra were collected at 90 deg to the exitation beam using a wide-aperture achromatic condenser PS-3, 600 um dia. optical fiber and the M833i spectrometer (1200 l\mm gratings and S7031-1006 Hamamatsu sensor). Aperture matching system AFA consisting of two objectives-achromats was used to match the optical fiber output (NA=0.2) and the M833i input (F# 5.5). The wide-aperture condenser PS-3 consists of a meniscus and two objectives-achromats and provides wide light collecting angle of 37 deg.
